- Puresport Training Tip#1 – To be competitive you have to have speed, agility, reaction, and power. Your mind and body have to be on the same page. You have to be smart enough to take care of your body so that when your mind demands those four things your body will respond. In essence, take care of your body and it will take care of you!
- Puresport Training Tip#2 – As we get new ways and methods to be better athletes, one thing will always stand true. You can always out work somebody else. Don’t be afraid to put in the time and don’t be afraid to fail or you will never know your true limits.
- PureSport Training Tip #1 Never start a workout dehydrated – The most important thing with hydration is never allowing your body to fall behind its nutritional needs. Once you fall behind it becomes a game of catch-up. Many people only consider this during activity. However, if you’re dehydrated when you start activity, it can make for a long race or workout. Try to counter this by hydrating throughout the day for an afternoon workout. If you have a morning workout hydrate the night before. If you have a race, carry a water bottle as you set up your transitions. Remember that while your body loses water it is also losing salts.
